2016 Feature Upgrades
Wolf Cinema announces key upgrades to one of our best selling projectors – the model SDC-10. Affectionately known as the “PUP,” the SDC-10 is an advanced home cinema platform equipped to deliver some of finest experiences in both 2D and 3D imaging.
Suitable for theater screens up to 13’ wide, the SDC-10 is built around a sixth-generation three-chip, D-ILA® (Direct Drive Image Light Amplifier) light engine. D-ILA technology produces stunning film-like imaging with deep contrast levels and natural color renditions. This year, Wolf Cinema’s V4K™ (Gen4 “e-shift”) imaging technology delivers ultra-resolution 3840 X 2160 presentations from all SD, HD and Ultra HD/4K sources. The sophisticated engine merges two full frame images, and by a precision 0.5 pixel offset the projector can virtually eliminate the visible “pixel gate” often experienced in other projectors.
The SDC-10 also incorporates our precision VariScope™ lens memory system. This unique technology enables quick access to your preferred aspect ratios – ex., 1.78:1, 1.85:1, 2.20:1, 2.35:1 etc. – all without an external anamorphic lens. Now you can enjoy full 2:35:1 CinemaScope® widescreen viewing without those unwanted top/bottom “black bars” on appropriate screens. And for true film aficionados, two precision VariScope™ FX fixed anamorphic lens assemblies are also available – especially useful when taking advantage of the full installation range of the primary optics.
The SDC-10 is delivered in an elegant high-gloss black cabinet, also serving as a highly-efficient thermal design for extended projector and lamp life. Multiple whisper fans keep the light engine at optimum temperatures by routing air in a rear-to-front design. Dual HDMI 2.0/HDCP 2.2 inputs plus full system IR remote control, LAN and RS-232 control capabilities are included for ease of connectivity and usage. Last but not least, optimized Wolf Cinema 3D shutter glasses and the 3D signal emitter remain key accessories, available whenever one desires the very finest in 3D viewing experiences.

All Wolf projectors and processors are warranted for 3 years [36 months], parts & labor, from the original Wolf Cinema invoice date (excluding the lamp). Lamps are warranted under this Limited Warranty for a period of six (6) months or 1000 hours, whichever comes first, from the original Wolf Cinema invoice date. If replacement parts and/or a lamp are provided under this limited warranty, such parts and/or lamp are warranted for the remaining portion (if any) of the original warranty period.
